Webinar: Code of Ethics - Your Practical Guide

Session Overview:

Ethics underpins all the work undertaken by internal auditors. This webinar provides a practical approach to applying the IIA's mandatory Code of Ethics. It will outline the key ethical principles that internal auditors should abide by, with practical scenarios as to how these principles can apply in the workplace.

We will look at the core principles, the IIA's code of ethics, and some examples of ethical situations and how to respond to them.

What I will learn:

  • The elements of the IIA's Code of Ethics including the four principles- integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competency.
  • Rules for applying each of the four principles and practical approaches to applying ethics in the workplace.

Who should attend:

As of January 2018, all IIA certification holders are required to undertake at least two hours (2 CPD) of ethics training per annum. This webinar will meet the requirements for 1 CPD.

The webinar is relevant for Chief Audit Executives, Internal Auditors, and others working in relevant risk and compliance roles.
