SOPAC Online Conference 2020

SOPAC Online

The SOPAC® Online Conference will feature a selection of keynote and technical sessions from the SOPAC® 2020 programme which was unable to be conducted in March due COVID-19.

The programme will be structured into four distinct segments. This will allow participants the flexibility to select topic areas of most interest to them as well as provide ample breaks away from the computer if attending all sessions.

Speakers will be presenting live on the day and the online platform will allow interaction between delegates and speakers through a chat box. Recordings of the sessions will also be available to catch-up on any missed sessions or rewatch later. The themes and topics that will be presented at SOPAC® Online are:

Block 1 - Foresight - Sessions covering emerging issues and disruption

  • FitRisk - Auditing and improving the health of your risk management
    Presented by: David Tattam, Director Research and Training, Protecht

Block 3 - Clarity - Sessions to enhance personal skills of the profession to improve effectiveness

  • The future of work - Will you fit in?
    Presented by: Andrea Clark
  • Leadership resilience - Holding it together in tough times
    Presented by: Paul Lyons, Managing Partner, Mental Toughness Partners

Block 4 - Focus - Sessions providing insights on application of internal audit methodology
