It is highly recommended for all those who have not yet attended an IIANZ ethics workshop and/or those planning to sit the CIA exams. The introduction module 1 and application module 2 covers: The workshop will provide you with information on how these ethic related topics impact on us as auditors as well as providing an opportunity to work in groups to consider and discuss how these topics may impact on our day-to-day work. The session will start with a theory section, followed by an application module where participants will be broken into groups to work through case studies.
Registrations are limited due to the interactive format of this workshop. A second workshop may be held dependent on registration numbers. This ethics workshop is planned to be run later in the year online depending on demand. Please register your interest providing your preferred time of year to IIA NZ at admin@iianz.org.nz

A Fellow of IIA NZ, Brian is also a past IIA NZ president and has served on the IIA NZ Wellington and Education Committees. He provides advice to IIA NZ members on education matters and has been an assurance trainer for over 2 decades. Brian currently works as an Assurance Services Manager for the Ministry of Education, and runs his own assurance consulting business mainly providing training and review services. Brian is a well-qualified and experienced assurance practitioner with over 30 years in the assurance profession both in external and internal assurance roles. He has worked in a number of medium to large organisations, mainly in the public sector, covering a number of different industries including Telecommunication, Energy, Information, Education, Insurance, Construction, Transport, Regulatory and Health.
