IIA NZ Topic: Risk: my work, my home and me

Presenter: Chris Budge, Director, Consulting @ KPMG

We think about our risks and the consequences every day. Some when dealing with a prevent, detect and response fraud lens, even in our personal lives. We also use both conscious thought and an unconscious bias as a mitigation to help us resolve our situation. Chris will offer considerations for your reflection as you go about your lives.

Chris is a Director within KPMG's Risk Consulting team which provides proactive and reactive investigative, anti-fraud and litigation services. Chris has been the Trust and Safety Manager at TradeMe and prior to that provided consultancy (primarily forensic computing) services to a variety of clients. He has also served 20 years in the Royal New Zealand Military Police, and time with the NZ Police Electronic Crime Laboratory. In all his dealings people are involved, many with differing viewpoints and agendas. Chris has previously presented to this body.
