Climate, Sustainability, and the Impact to Internal Audit

Presenter: Monika Wakeman, Director, Risk Advisory, Deloitte

Monika's presentation will set the scene on Climate and Sustainability, aid our understanding of climate management as a journey, outline the impacts on Internal Audit, and give tips on where to start.

Monika leads Deloitte's Climate and Sustainability Risk Advisory service and has worked globally in the Deloitte Climate and Sustainability practice for over 15 years. She has provided services to clients in NZ and overseas in addressing climate and sustainability risks and in helping clients advance their maturity in this area. This includes in areas of ESG materiality, risk management, strategy, measuring, monitoring and assurance. She is experienced in global climate and sustainability reporting and provides a holistic view on sustainability governance and management. She brings forward the challenges and solutions for government and industry requirements to enable the design and implementation of sustainability programmes.

Monika also leads Deloitte's Health, Safety and Wellbeing service and incorporates these areas as part of a holistic sustainability programme.

Light refreshments will be served at approximately 12.45pm, followed by the ISACA session.

Common pitfalls of Azure Implementations

Presenter: Blaise St-Laurent, Cloud and Architecture Lead Consultant at ZX Security

Over the last two years ZX Security has been asked to review the Azure Security implementations of customers large and small; this talk will be a recap of the most common, most serious and most out-there issues we've found.

Blaise is the Cloud and Architecture Lead consultant at ZX Security. After 10 years in the network security space, Blaise has applied those skills to security issues in cloud environments. This is a great opportunity to learn what to do, and what to avoid, from Blaise.
