Group Internal Auditor - Talley's

Talley's are looking for a talented individual to take a lead role in shaping and building the internal audit environment.

The Talley's Group consists of 30+ sites that operate within the Talley's Group Limited, AFFCO Limited and Open Country Dairy divisions.

As the Group Internal Auditor (GIA) you will be leading an internal auditing strategy, and developing and delivering an audit program across the different sites. You will be accountable for the planning, delivery, follow-up and reporting of internal audits.

Other key responsibilities will include identifying efficiencies and aligning best practices, monitoring emerging risks and issues, developing well-reasoned solutions, recognising constraints and managing a team of people to enable you to deliver.

To be successful in this role you will bring a proven background in auditing, ideally with some manufacturing or similar industry experience, and hold a relevant tertiary qualification. You have real drive and enjoy a meaningful challenge.

You will also have the ability to think strategically but be strong on the detail and be able to take a hands-on pragmatic approach. You will be interested in understanding the different operations and demonstrate exceptional business judgement. In addition to this you will have outstanding communication skills which will allow you to quickly build relationships with a diverse range of people.

This senior role will require travel throughout the Talley's Group sites across the country.
