What will you do?

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to support the effective delivery of internal audits as set out in the Ryman Group annual Internal Audit plan.

This role will suit someone who likes variety, as Ryman operations span multiple industries including Construction, Healthcare and Aged care in both Australia and New Zealand.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining positive functional relationships with team leaders, managers, and teams across Ryman as well as with external parties working with the Internal Audit Team.
  • Auditing engagement, coordination, and planning.
  • Processing and controlling analysis; identifying findings that add value to the business functions.
  • Analysing data, reporting, and providing insights to key business stakeholders.
  • Supporting the drafting of concise and well-written audit reports, that provide value to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Contributing to and leading ongoing development and implementation of a comprehensive, responsive and value adding internal audit function.
  • Providing input on the establishment of new systems, policies, and procedures across the Ryman Group Risk & Audit functions.

Who are you?

In this newly created full-time permanent role, you will:

  • Have experience in an Internal Audit position, preferably a large or complex organisation.
  • Bring a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the Group’s key risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to influence others to gain support for audit actions and recommendations.
  • Have a relevant tertiary qualification, with demonstrated experience in a similar auditing role and CA, CIMA, CPA, CIA or CISA professional status, you will be ready for your next career challenge.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, which will see you partnering with and influencing your key stakeholders, and your report writing will be second to none.
  • Value people, kindness, and strong teams, and are passionate about learning and delivering excellent results.
