CPE Reporting

Beginning 30 August, all certified and inactive grace status individuals will receive emails from IIA Global Headquarters to report their CPE credits in the Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS) by 31 December.

It is recognised that some members may have concerns with obtaining 40 CPE due to COVID-19 and while the requirement to obtain 40 CPE has not changed, the Professional Certifications Board (PCB) has agreed to some flexibility to handle exceptions. Members who are concerned about meeting the CPE requirements are encouraged to submit a case in CCMS. Members will have a six-month grace period to earn CPE hours when audited.

Note, members who do not report CPE by 31 December will automatically transition from certified (active) to an inactive (grace period) status. Members who remain in an inactive (grace period) status for more than 12 months will automatically be transitioned to inactive status.

View the CPE Policy for qualifying CPE activities.
