IIA NZ Auditor in Charge Mentorship Forum

NZ Based Overview:

Welcome to the IIA NZ Auditor in Charge Mentorship Forum

The IIA NZ Auditor in Charge Mentorship Forum is one of three key components of the new IIA NZ Training Programme, developed in collaboration with Massey University. This hybrid mentorship forum has been specifically designed for Auditors in Charge who are in the mid-stage of their internal audit careers.

This group is tailored to those who are new to the role, with up a minimum of 48 months of experience as an Internal Auditor and whom is now a team supervisor. It provides a unique platform for aspiring professionals to share insights, exchange experiences, and support one another as they navigate their careers in internal auditing. The forum also welcomes Master's students enrolled in the training programme.

This exclusive forum is designed for Auditor in Charge seeking mentorship, guidance, and networking opportunities in the internal auditing field. Meeting quarterly, it offers a mix of in-person and online sessions to accommodate participants from various locations. The final Auditor in Charge Mentorship Forum, held in November, is an in-person-only Meet n Greet networking session, linked to the IIA NZ Conference. Attendees will be guided by Senior Internal Auditors (subject matter experts) through engaging discussions, expert-led mentorship, and collaborative interactions. Forum members will gain valuable knowledge, skills, and resources that are essential for their professional growth and development.

Whether attending sessions in Wellington or virtually, Auditor in Charge will have the opportunity to connect with peers, share experiences, and tap into a wealth of industry expertise. Join us on this journey of learning, collaboration, and professional growth in the world of internal auditing.
