This year's IIA NZ Conference theme is “In an Era of Fraud and Corruption, Internal Auditors Safeguard the Future." We are committed to addressing the critical issues of fraud and corruption in today's business landscape, and this theme reflects our dedication to integrity, transparency, and accountability. The conference will feature a diverse lineup of local and international speakers who embody these values.

The IIA NZ is proud to recognise the outstanding achievements of Internal Audit professionals and those who champion our work each year. We are excited to announce that nominations for the IIA NZ Awards 2024 opened on 1 August 2024. We encourage you to nominate yourself, your team, or a deserving colleague in one of the following categories:

1. Internal Auditor of the Year

2. Emerging Internal Auditor of the Year

3. Team Excellence in Internal Auditing

4. Best Contribution to the Profession in NZ (IIA NZ Board-only nomination)

5. Richard Ratliff Award

2024 IIA NZ Awards Criteria form.

All applications will be reviewed by the judging panel during the first week of October. The judges will independently evaluate each submission before convening to collectively decide on the finalists by mid-October.

Additionally, the IIA NZ Board will meet to decide on the "Best Contribution to the Profession in NZ" award, a category reserved for Board nominations only.

All nominees and finalists for the IIA NZ Awards 2024 will be announced in mid-October. You will then be invited to attend the IIA NZ Awards Dinner on Tuesday, 5 November 2024. Please note that a registration fee applies to attend the dinner.
