IIA NZ Waikato and Central Region Special Interest Group (WSIG) Event: (April, 2024) The IIA NZ Waikato and Central Region Special Interest Group (WSIG) Event is a complimentary and enriching experience that combines networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration for professionals in the internal auditing community within the Waikato and Central regions. Participants can anticipate gaining valuable insights, expanding their professional networks, and contributing to the growth and development of the internal auditing field in this regional context. Changes to Internal Audit Standards Speaker details: Tee Chow Lee Tee Chow has over 16 years of experience in internal audit, finance and consulting where he has held diverse leadership roles across both the private and public sectors in Singapore and New Zealand. He is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and is currently Deputy Chair of the Board at the Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand. Tee Chow has established new internal audit functions, designed and delivered internal audit methodologies, developed internal audit and assurance plans, and consistently helps multi-national and complex organisations to manage their risks, review and provide insights on their operations and performance, and collaborate and monitor change. Tee Chow is passionate about helping people by listening to their challenges and making it easier to deliver. New Government Focus Speaker details: Megha Raghu Megha is a Director within PwC's Risk Services Team in Wellington with over 15 years of experience spanning human resources, organisational development, internal audit and transformation risk advisory. Megha especially enjoys working with clients on process improvements, strengthening programme management and has undertaken a range of projects delivering meaningful change through a people experience (PX) led approach and human-centred design. Presentation details: A workforce lens on Government priorities What are some of the current Government priorities, from a Workforce point of view? What are the key challenges being faced, focus areas and are there any obvious themes? Come along to hear about related current global insights, emerging trends and what we should be thinking about to help workplaces thrive in the face of constant and continuous change.
