Report Writing for Internal Auditors - Online Classroom

Ever written an Internal Audit report that hasn't quite hit the mark?

Do your readers misinterpret the messages you are trying to convey? Wouldn't it be nice if communicating those messages became a whole lot easier? The report is an absolutely vital deliverable of each Internal Audit assignment, but it isn't an easy thing to do well. Learning Outcomes

By the end of the training course, the participant will be able to:

• Gain an understanding of why and how writing is a distinct process
• Develop skills in the four stages of the writing process - analysis, organisation, writing and revision as they apply to report writing for internal audit
• Analyse the uses and readers of the audit report and other types of engagement reports
• Organise the information in the audit report and other reporting documents
• Write reports that are accurate, objective, clear, concise, constructive, complete, and timely
• Develop a Plan of Action for future learning

Online Classroom
The content delivered for IIA-Australia training programs in the online classroom format is the same as what would be delivered
face-to-face.

This training program will be delivered in two half days online sessions (12:30pm - 03:30pm NZT) on 21 and 22 March using Zoom. Registrations will be strictly limited to 12 participants to allow maximum interaction in the online environment.
